Memory boxes to be given to families in the event of the death of their child. Many families have used these boxes as keepsakes, placing hand and footprint molds and other mementos of their child in the box.

Music therapy is very important for children during their treatment and extended stays at the hospital. Music therapists provide physical and emotional support for patients through music, often times helping patients get through their toughest days. Potential items for purchase are Gadgets for Great Singing, the Singlish books, mini pianos, maracas, and xylophones.

Music therapists work with children of all ages and abilities. Items for purchase include guitar/ukulele cases to protect the equipment and guitar barres, which make it easier for a child to play. Items such as drum mutes allow patients to practice the drums without having to worry about volume control. CD players are another item greatly enjoyed by our patients.

For children with hemophilia A or B, part of the treatment process involves teaching a parent(s)/guardian to administer treatment in the event of bleeding via an IV. This treatment can stop a child from bleeding and avoid a hospital or emergency room visit by allowing a parent to treat the patient at home.

This device allows for visual and auditory stimulation for our youngest patients. These devices are placed on a baby's crib and allow for distraction during treatments.

We are lucky enough to have pianos in each of our hospital lobbies. These pianos provide comfort and distraction to patients and families during their hospital visits. Annual tunings (twice a year) are required to keep our pianos working properly.

Families often have financial assistance and camp applications and community organization referrals to be printed and completed during hospital stays. Our family rooms provide an area for families to work and print these items.

Any fun room decorations would be great to help patients make their BMT rooms more personalized and special during a lengthy hospital stay. Décor for all ages is much appreciated. Some items include princess themes, Dora the Explorer, Sophia the First, Doc Mcstuffins, wall clings, white board stickers, banners, pom pom garland, car wall clings, 3M double sided wall hangers (stickers), beach/relaxing posters of vacation spots, etc.

Semi-annual meeting of parents and adolescent YA survivors to advise programming and survivor research. Funds raised will pay small stipend to participants, such as parking fees and food during meetings.
