When and where is the Superhero Sprint?

The 2025 Superhero Sprint is located at the Charles Allen Drive entrance (off 10th Street) of Piedmont Park.

  • Registration & Race Bib Pick Up: Saturday, June 7, 2025 Beginning at 7:30am
  • 5K starts: 8:30am
  • 1-mile fun run starts: 9:15am
  • Awards ceremony: 9:45am

What is the Strong4Life Superhero Sprint?

A family-friendly 5K and 1 mile fun run. Participants are encouraged to dress as your favorite superhero.

Who do the funds benefit?

This exciting family event at Piedmont Park benefits Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Strong4Life, an initiative to help families raise healthy, safe, resilient kids. By participating in this 5K Saturday, June 7, you can help raise funds needed for Strong4Life to reach even more families through schools, provider training programs and community partnerships.

When is the last day to register online?

Monday, June 2nd, 2025 at 5pm EST

Can I register on race day?

Yes (the cost of each registration type will increase). We accept cash, checks (made out to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta), and all major credit cards. Race day registrations will be available between 7:30am and 8:00am.

How do I get my runner/walker number?

Participant numbers are not being mailed to participants for the Strong4Life Superhero Sprint. Participants will pick up numbers at registration on race day, beginning at 7:30am. Please bring the confirmation you received online or your photo ID to pick up your race number. If you are picking up a race number for someone else, please have the full name they used when registering.

How do I know if I am registered?

If you register online you will receive a confirmation email. On race day, bring your confirmation or ID and pick up your number at registration beginning at 7:30am.

If I want to write a check, to whom do I make the check payable?

Please make checks payable to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Is this a rain or shine event?

This is a rain or shine event unless persistent inclement weather occurs at which time a call will be made the day of the race. In the event of race cancellation, the race will not be rescheduled.

Are there water stations along the course?

Yes, and we also have a water station in the pre-/post-race area.

Will restrooms be available?

Yes, we have port-o-johns available and there are also stationary restrooms inside the park.

Are strollers allowed?

Yes, please bring your strollers and jogging strollers and join us for the fun.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes. Piedmont Park does allow dogs, but please follow the park rules when bringing your dog.

Where can I park?

Piedmont Park Parking Garage

The parking garage is in the center of the park, and is great for visitors, especially those on their first visit. The Park shares a parking deck with the Atlanta Botanical Garden and the rate is typically based on the amount of time you spend in the park. Please note, this is a cashless parking garage. Please be prepared to pay with a credit or debit card. Piedmont Park access is on the lowest floor.

The garage is just beyond the intersection of Monroe Drive & Worchester Dr. NE. The park is accessed from the lowest floor. The first 30 minutes are free.
