Directions to the Speedway

Traveling South
If you are driving south towards Atlanta Motor Speedway, there are two exits off I-75 for reaching the track and both are comparable distances. Traveling south on I-75, take Exit #235 (11.1 miles south of downtown Atlanta) and continue south on Highway 19 & 41 for 15 miles. Exit #218 is also an option while traveling south on I-75 (27.7 miles south of downtown Atlanta). Once on Highway 20, head west for 10 miles and follow signs to the track. Alternate routes to the track are available, but are not as direct.

Traveling North
There are three exit options off I-75 when driving north towards Atlanta Motor Speedway. Traveling north on 1-75, first take Exit #205 and head west on GA 16 West into Griffin. Then take U.S. Highway 19 & 41 north towards Atlanta Motor Speedway (approximately 10 miles). Another option is to take exit #212 off I-75 and head west on Hampton-Locust Grove Road to GA 20. Take GA 20 west for approximately two miles to Atlanta Motor Speedway. Traveling from the south, Exit #218 is also an opportunity. Take GA 20 west to the Speedway (10 miles).

Entering Speedway Grounds
Upon entering the Atlanta Motor Speedway’s main entrance from HWY41/Bear Creek Blvd:

-          Turn right onto Tara Place

-          Follow road to turn right onto Turnipseed Rd which continues into Outer Perimeter Rd.  

-          Follow Outer Perimeter Rd until you reach Speedway Blvd.

-          Turn right onto Speedway Blvd. and continue until you see the tunnel main entrance on your left

-          Go through the right lane main tunnel entrance and follow event signage to the Media Center Parking lot adjacent to the media center building
