Running on ECMO
“Running on ECMO” is created in honor of Eliza, whose body ran on ECMO for 11 days during her 42 day NICU stay. Without the technology and staff provided by CHOA, Eliza would not be alive and able to attend this event.
Eliza has thrived and has continued to receive superior therapies and medical care from CHOA. Eliza’s mom, Kim, has had the honor of being a consultant for ECMO research with Children’s Hospital.
Your participation and/or donation to “Running on ECMO” will directly benefit CHOA and their ability to provide outstanding care to patients like Eliza, as well as continue to research technology like ECMO and further improve its efficacy.
