As many of you know I lost my mother in 2022 from complications from Cancer.  10+ years ago I had a niece that was diagnosed at the age of 3.  Fortunately she has recovered remarkably.  My mother in law is also a 30+ year survivor of breast cancer and I currently have a childhood friend going thru stage 4 breast cancer.  I doubt there is a single person reading this that has not been touched/affected by  the ugly "C" word.  

You may have seen me post about Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center.  During the month of September we are celebrating its 29th anniversary with Miracle for Miles.  

Last year I ran 28 miles in 28 days to celebrate, but many of you know running is out for me this year.  This year I'm planning on waking 29 in 29 but, just as last year, you don't have to do either.  You can just donate.  I know there are lots of well deserving charities, but if you have it in your heart to help, I hope you will do what you can.  I have set the same goal this year I did last year, which I met, of $500.  If you can help it would be greatly appreciated by more than just me.
