Dear Friends,

Sweet Baby Theodore is about to turn 3 on June 5th.

Again this year we will be walking the 5k SuperHero Sprint event with Children's Health Care of Atlanta on Saturday, June 8.

We find this event to be a perfect fit as we all continue to reclaim the day. As you know, 3 years ago, Theodore was born via emergency c-section at 25 weeks because I was attacked while walking a walking path near our home in the middle of the day Saturday with my son Benjamin.

We have been fighting for Theodore's life with the incredible help of this amazing Children's Hospital network. He has progressed so much. Our family's lives are very busy, but nearly what they were. He has had a total of 7 surgeries and the recent one was for his tonsil and adenoid-ectomy, the neurosurgeon- nurse practitioner came to say hi and cheer him on. She recognized us in the hospital. He also attended an intensive feeding clinic which he loved so much, and he is also followed closely by a developmental clinic that is leading the research in early detection and intervention with Cerebral Palsy. Theo was early diagnosed with CP and he has attended a specialized research group. We have also done fundraisers to help their local and global outreach. 

We celebrate each milestone as Theo is Here and thriving because of so many heroes.
