Welcome to my Tower of Talent page
Music has been the center of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up my dad used to play the guitar for me so I could sing along. As I grew older, I wanted to be able to create music on my own which is why I began playing piano at the early age of six. Four years later I picked up the guitar and haven't put it down since.
The reason I fell in love with music is because it has helped me battle my own illness. I was diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) at a very young age. Whenever I was overwhelmed or simply having a hard day, I could go to my room and get lost in my music. For me, my music is my safe place. Writing my own songs and being able to tell my own stories has brought me so much joy.
Nothing beats the feeling of bringing happiness to others through music and that is why I am truly grateful to be a part of this amazing event. Knowing that Tower of Talent directly benefits the music therapy program at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta makes me excited beyond words. Music heals and that is my hope for these kids.
