Welcome to My Personal Page
I am bowling in honor of my late son, Hayden Bertario. He spent the majority of his short life at CHOA Egleston with a total of 10 operations. The staff is excellent, and I cannot say enough good things about the hospital and everything they do. They sacrifice so much for our future generation - talk about a worthy cause!
At CHOA Egleston, I have laughed, I have cried, and I have felt emotions I cannot express (some of which I would never want to feel again). I have held my son as he took his last breath in their Cardiac NICU Unit. For me, it is something I will never forget. I will also forever hold some doctors and nurses in my heart as they empathized and encouraged me even when I felt all hope was gone.
As most of you know, God has now blessed me with twin boys (they will be 2 August 7th!). Although Hayden will never be forgotten, I know it is true that the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. I am blessed in life and I am blessed to have had 18 months together with my first born son - it was an honor to be his mother, and I always will be his mama.
In honor of Hayden Bertario 10/24/2006 - 05/09/2008 - gone, but never forgotten. I love you forever.
