Rolling for Caroline!
Friends & family,
Jamie Brewer is a childhood friend of mine & her four-year-old daughter, Caroline, was diagnosed with brain cancer in early 2017. The doctors warned her parents the surgery could leave her paralyzed or blind. Caroline beat the odds and walked out of the hospital after a softball-sized tumor was removed. In November of 2017, another tumor was found and again removed. After two rounds of radiation and chemo, Caroline now gets MRI scans every 8 weeks & takes chemo pills monthly.
The trajectory of the priorities of this family changed in 2017. Jamie has inspired me with her relentless resolve to raise awareness for childhood cancer. The stats on funding are baffling. Adult cancer research receives 96% and children get a measly 4%. Heartbreaking. Infuriating. Shocking.
Please join me in supporting this family and donate anything you can. In the hearts of Caroline's parents, every single dollar raised gives them hope to finding a cure for their precious Caroline. CHOA assured me that every penny will be stewarded directly to brain cancer.
Thank you for your support!
