We’ve created this fundraiser because The Zone is truly a lifeline for kids and families during some of their hardest days. When a child is in the hospital, life can feel overwhelming, heavy, and scary. The Zone offers them something priceless: a chance to laugh, to play, to create, and to feel “normal” again — even if just for a little while.

What makes The Zone so special is that it’s more than a game room. It’s a place where children can shoot hoops, make music, play games, or star in their own little show — and in that space, illness isn’t the center of their story. Instead, joy is. It’s also a place where brothers and sisters can join in, finding comfort and fun while their family is going through so much.

This cause is close to my heart because Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) changes lives every single day. I’ve seen firsthand the value of world-class medical services for children and families in our community. As a professional risk manager, I understand the impact that strong, accessible healthcare has — but as a neighbor, a friend, and a parent in this community, I simply know how much it matters that every child has a place to feel cared for and supported.

That’s why I’m personally asking friends and loved ones to consider making a meaningful gift of $250 or more to support The Zone. Your generosity will go directly toward creating joy, comfort, and healing for kids who need it most.
