100 Miles for BA: Running to Fight Biliary Atresia
100 Miles for BA: Running to Fight Biliary Atresia
FCA 24-Hour Ultra | July 26
Hi, I’m Rodney—and on July 26th, I’ll be taking on one of the toughest challenges of my life: running 100 miles in 24 hours.
But this isn’t just a personal milestone—it’s a mission with heart.
I’m dedicating every step to raising awareness and funds for children battling Biliary Atresia (BA), a rare and life-threatening liver disease that affects infants. The courage these kids show every day far outweighs the physical challenge I’m preparing for.
All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to the Meredith Brown Fund for Biliary Atresia at Emory University and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. This fund supports life-saving research, care, and family assistance for those affected by BA.

What is Biliary Atresia?
Biliary Atresia is a rare liver condition that blocks the bile ducts in newborns, leading to liver failure if not treated early. Many children with BA eventually require liver transplants. It’s a tough fight, and every bit of help matters.
