MajemuOluwa (Majemu) is turning 5!!!

In celebrating her birthday this year, Majemu will love for you to donate to Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center Playroom:Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation...Here is a little background about Majemu.....
Majemu was born with Sickle Cell Disease - a genetic blood disorder that affects hemoglobin in red blood cells. Normal red blood cells are round and smooth; in sickle cell, the red blood cells are hard, sticky and crescent shaped which can lead to several health issues such as debilitating pain crisis and stroke. At exactly one month old, Majemu began receiving care at the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorder Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
On April 25, 2018, Majemu underwent a Bone Marrow Transplant which is the only cure for Sickle Cell Disease with a matched sibling donor(Mojuba). From the day that she was diagnosed and through her transplant process, Majemu could always count on the Childlife Specialists at Aflac for emotional support & care. Through the shots, medications, chemotherapy and many more vigorous treatments; childlife specialists always had a toy or treats waiting for Majemu as an encouragement. Majemu's favorite part of the transplant was the playroom. As a three years old going through a blood marrow transplant; the playroom gave her comfort.
The toys and refilling the playroom (arts supplies, musical instruments, and many more) are 100% donor based.
Please join Majemu in raising funds for these wonderful angels, so that more children like her can play their way through a traumatic experience!
Thank you for helping Majemu reach her fundraising goal in support of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.
With much gratitude,
Majemuoluwa Azariah Gbenro
