Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal in support of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.  I decided to join this fundraiser because I have two healthy children who weren't always healthy.  My son was a twin that I lost the other to.  He was born with Strep B pneumonia in 1986 when they did not know how to treat it.  He died for 8 minutes.  I was told he would be mentally retarted at best and I was 20 years old.  I had no support and  I was living in the land of paradise! Hawaii.  It was hell, I did not know what I was doing until my mom came to visit me and showed me how to take care of an infant.  She saved my life!
