Thank you for your interest in Emerging Leaders for Children’s (ELC). Members of ELC agree to make Children’s their #1 community priority—committing their time, talent and funds to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta during their 3+ year term.
Candidate interviews will begin mid-September and applications will be accepted through September 30. Invitations to join are extended in November, with service beginning in January. Approximately 10 new members are confirmed each year. For more information visit choa.org/ELC.
ELC Member Qualifications
Members shall be chosen who…
- Demonstrate the highest level of personal
integrity
- Distinguish oneself as a rising professional or
community volunteer
- Demonstrate one’s commitment to improving the
health and well-being of children within one’s sphere of influence
- Possess relationships with organizations and
individuals key to advancing the work of and raising funds for Children’s
- Demonstrate interest in furthering personal
leadership skills through service to Children’s and the greater Atlanta
community
- Exhibit the financial ability to personally
support the Children’s mission with a donation of $2,500 during the first year
of service, and $5,000 each subsequent year

Demonstrate the ability to raise funds for ELC’s annual beneficiary in the amount of at least $2,500 in the first year of service, and at least $5,000 each subsequent year
