girlFriends is a volunteer group of 9th to 12th grade high school girls dedicated to fundraising throughout the school year for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. girlFriends supports Children's through membership, volunteer opportunities, fundraising events and special service projects at our hospital campuses. You are invited to renew or begin your girlFriends membership below!

As a girlFriends Member, you will be a part of the committees supporting the girlFriends Leadership Board. There are three types of committees: Fundraising, Marketing and Membership.

GIRLFRIENDS MEMBER EXPECTATIONS

Being a member of the girlFriends group means that you are representing Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and girls throughout the city of Atlanta. We seek girls with the following: high moral character, a desire to give back to their community, a willingness and desire to serve, enthusiasm and energetic leadership style, a strong commitment to the organization and to the goals of the group.

The expectations of the group include but may not be limited to:

Attending one membership meeting each month

Supporting the girlFriends Leadership Board with planning and participating in group activities, meetings, service opportunities and fundraising efforts

Working to represent Children’s and girlFriends in your communities and schools

We look forward to having you join us as we continue to bring girls together for good!
