Payroll Giving

Employees can have a charitable contribution deducted from their paycheck, so gifts are sent to Children’s automatically, on a recurring, pre-tax basis.

Getting started with payroll giving

  • Use the above search tool to see if your employer offers payroll giving. If they do, you’ll be guided through the setup process.
  • That’s it! Once you enroll in payroll giving, you’ll be making a stronger impact for Georgia's children.

Benefits of payroll giving

  • Convenience: Donations are made automatically from each paycheck, requiring minimal effort and no need to remember to donate each time.
  • Tax benefits: In many payroll giving programs, a regular donation is taken from your salary before tax is calculated, which reduces your taxable income.
  • Small contributions add up: A few dollars each pay cycle might feel small—but over time, it’s powerful. Just $10 every other week adds up to $260 annually. When a whole community of supporters does this, these contributions can lead to remarkable change.
  • Planning ahead: Regular support through payroll giving allows Children's to prepare for the future and invest in larger or ongoing solutions.
