Gavyn, 12, began his brain cancer journey at age 9. He required four lifesaving brain surgeries and extensive
hospital stays at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. He spent many long days at Children's filled with chemo
treatments, oncology checkups and 20 proton radiation treatments.
Gavyn is now in his first year of clear MRIs and he’s back to enjoying school, sports card and memorabilia
collecting, fishing and playing baseball! A gifted student and Jr. Beta Club member, he dreams of playing for the
Braves and becoming a veterinarian or doctor.
