Our 3rd floor eating disorders patients require high-calorie, nutrient-dense snacks to meet nutritional needs that are not available with our current patient menu.
Our 3rd floor eating disorders patients require high-calorie, nutrient-dense snacks to meet nutritional needs that are not available with our current patient menu.
Our purpose is to establish a Snack fund to provide our patients with high-calorie, nutrient-dense snacks to help our patients meet their nutritional needs and support their medical stabilization.
Some snacks may include the following:
- 1. Kirkland Signature Snacking Nuts, Variety Pack, 1.6 oz, 30-count - Each package nuts is 270-290 calories $16.99
- 2. Bon Appetit, Banana Bread Slice, 4 oz, 8-Count, $13.99, each package is 420 calories
- 3. Grandma's Cookies, Variety Pack, 2.5 oz, 33-count, 18.99 - each package cookies is 160 -170 cals
- 4. Otis Spunkmeyer muffins (blueberry and banana nut) - 470 calories each
- 5. Kellogg's Poptarts - 1 pkg of 2 poptarts: 400 calories
- 6. Hostess Danish with Icing, Variety Pack, 2.75 oz, 24-count $17.99. I package is 280-300 calories
- 7. Nature Valley Biscuits with almond butter filling - 30 count. Each package is 190 calories
- 8. Quaker instant Oatmeal - 1.7 oz cups (honey almond and maple brown sugar) - 190 cals
- 9. Walmart brand (Great Value)Trail mix - 1 pouch is 250 calories
- 10. Lara bar (various flavors) - these are plant based, dairy and gluten free - 200 calories each
