Meet 10-year old Jaxx
Meet 10 year old Jaxx - Jaxx has been going to the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center at Egleston since August 29th, 2016. Jaxx was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia that day and since then, he has relapsed twice.
Jaxx got a bone marrow transplant on December 9th, 2020.
A huge Braves fan, Jaxx began playing t-ball as a kid and has played ever since. He is a center fielder and more recently, he’s started playing first base. Jaxx was able to continue to play throughout his treatments thanks to his passion and determination to participate in his favorite game. Since his transplant, Jaxx has been building up his strength and endurance to prepare to take the field again!
On June 3rd, Jaxx celebrated his birthday and finishing his blood and marrow transplant by hanging out with his favorite player, Atlanta Braves shortstop, Dansby Swanson.
Your donation to the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center helps “Brave Kids” just like Jaxx.
