Thousands of children and their families are living with sickle cell disease. It’s a painful genetic blood disorder that affects one out of 365 African Americans.

But there IS hope—the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

We’re the nation’s largest pediatric treatment program for sickle cell disease. We work with experts across the country to conduct research and clinical trials, to find new treatments, new cures, and new ways to manage pain.

We’re also a recognized leader in curing sickle cell disease using blood and marrow transplants.
